The City of Odessa provides Emergency Medical Service 24 hours a day using a combination of full and part-time employees, including 10 paramedics and 10 EMT’s.

One ambulance is staffed 24 hours with two additional units staffed by part-time and off-duty personnel.

Having your house or work place clearly marked saves precious time in an emergency:
  • Make sure your house numbers are easily visible from the road - large reflective letters are best
  • In rural settings, the address should be posted clearly at the end of the driveway and be visible from either direction

Other Services
Blood pressure checks can be performed at the Odessa Ambulance Station any time between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Blood pressure checks are also available every Tuesday between 10:30 am and 11:30 am at the Odessa Senior Center, located at 217 S. 2nd St.
