Planning and Zoning Board
The Planning & Zoning Board of the City of Odessa, MO consists of eight volunteer members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Aldermen. The term of each member is four years, with staggered expiration dates. The function and duty of the Board is to make and adopt plans for the physical development of the city, including any areas outside of its boundaries but within its statutory authority that bear relation to the planning of the municipality.
The City of Odessa's Comprehensive Master Plan
The City of Odessa’s Comprehensive Master Plan was approved on March 24, 2003. The Planning and Zoning Board reviews the plan on a monthly basis.
