The City of Odessa will be holding a Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This is a free service for Odessa residents only. Dumpsters will be available at Dyer Park (601 W Main) for your brush and yard waste, electronic waste and large household items (refrigerators cannot contain Freon). Brush and natural vegetation may also be dropped off at the City’s Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant (7174 Hughes Road). We cannot accept trash, junk, or other debris at this drop off site. No household hazardous waste or tires will be accepted at either site. For hazardous waste, please contact Jan Vahrenberg in Mayview at 816-263-1072. She allows most hazardous waste but no tires. Drop offs are welcome every third Saturday of the month between 1:00-4:00 pm in downtown Mayview on E Highway across from Michelle’s Restaurant.
