Special Event Permit
On Monday, August 26, 2024, the Odessa Board of Aldermen approved Bill No 2024-13 Ord 3125_Special Events, adding a section in the Odessa Code of Ordinances addressing Special Event Permits.
This ordinance will help streamline the submittal process.
Event organizers must complete a Special Event Permit Application at least 10 days in advance of the proposed date on which the event is to occur.
Special Events will be reviewed administratively on how they could affect nearby property owners, residents, and businesses.
Mobile Food Vendor License
On October 23, 2023, the Odessa Board of Aldermen approved an ordinance regulating mobile food vendor businesses within the City of Odessa.

INTOXICATING LIQUORS
All Special Events that request the consumption of intoxicating liquors at or upon any property belonging to the city; will be required to be heard and voted on by the Odessa Board of Aldermen at their next meeting after the submittal of the permit.
Any events that include the sale of liquor will require additional licensing in accordance with the City of Odessa and the State of Missouri Liquor regulations.
