The City of Odessa is accepting statements of interest from qualified individuals for an appointment as the Interim Municipal Judge. Individuals must meet the requirements of Section 479.020 of the Missouri Revised Statutes and Chapter 14, Article II of the City of Odessa Code of Ordinances. This appointment will be to fulfill the current term of the Municipal Judge that expires on June 30, 2022. This is a contracted position and interested persons will need to be able to preside over municipal court held on the third Tuesday of every month beginning at 1:00 pm. Interested persons shall submit their letter of interest and qualifications by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, to the City of Odessa, Attention: Mayor Stephen Wright, PO Box 128, Odessa, MO 64076.
