The City of Odessa, Missouri's Mayor and Board of Aldermen convene on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month at 7:00 pm. These meetings take place at the Dyer Park Community Building located at 601 W. Main, Odessa, MO.
If you wish to speak during a meeting, kindly fill out the Public Comment Form and submit it to City Hall before 5:00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the meeting.
Office of Mayor
The election of the Mayor takes place in even years and the term of service is for 2 years. To be eligible for candidacy, the individual must be a registered voter, at least 25 years old, and a resident of the city for one year prior to their election. The Mayor leads the Board of Aldermen and abstains from voting unless there is a tie. Additionally, the Mayor is automatically a member of all boards within the city.

Board of Aldermen
The City of Odessa is divided into three wards, each with two elected aldermen. The terms of these aldermen alternate, with one being elected each year in April. To be eligible for candidacy, aldermen must be registered voters, residents of the city for at least a year prior to their election, at least 18 years old, and reside in the ward they represent.
