To rent the Odessa Community Building at Dyer Park (601 W Main) you must submit an application to City Hall along with a $100 deposit to verify availability and reserve your specific day/time. The minimum rental time is four (4) hours for $100 with a cost of $25 for each additional hour.

You may not use the building prior to your start time and you must be cleaned up and out of the building by your end time. The key for the building should be picked up the week of your event at City Hall, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Please be aware of holidays that City Hall may be closed.

A discounted rental option is available to non-profit and local community groups that contribute to the betterment of the community. Non-Profit groups are able to rent the community building by paying the deposit amount of $100, and the rental cost of $100 is waived. After a non-profit organization has utilized the discount four (4) times in a calendar year, then Board of Aldermen approval will be needed to continue the discount. This allows for non-profits to hold thier regular schedule group/organization meetings for a minimal cost of $10, with a deposit of $100 required in order to cover incidentals.

There will be a cleaning checklist on your application to complete once your event has ended and prior to your reserved end time.

Once the building has been inspected and found to be in good condition and the key has been returned, your deposit of $100 will be returned to you.
